- Budget AI installed and opened.
- Premium, consent to AI processing and an internet connection.
- Google Wallet or a bank app that sends readable purchase notifications.
Step by step
Enable purchase notifications
Open Google Wallet settings and enable purchase notifications. Check that a purchase notification contains the amount and payment details. If it does not, use notifications from your bank app.

Open Automatic tracking in Budget AI. Complete the Android setup if needed, then select Google Wallet or your bank as a source.

Set payment keywords and an account if needed. Use either the wallet or bank notification for the same purchase, so the transaction is not recorded twice.

After a purchase, check that the notification arrived and Budget AI saved one transaction. Review the amount, category and account. If nothing appears, open the troubleshooting guide.
